One of the key additions in this update is a new “Mentions” tab in the Notifications screen. This feature allows users to more easily keep track of replies and conversations, improving engagement and interaction on the platform.

Another significant change affects username management. Users who switch their default username from a .bsky.social domain to their own custom domain will now have their previous .bsky.social username automatically reserved. This reservation applies only to the most recent .bsky.social username and does not expire, providing users with greater flexibility in managing their online identity.

Additionally, Bluesky has made visual improvements to the app and added support for three new languages: Nepali, Khmer, and Romanian, further expanding its global accessibility.
